Thank you Dell
I finally broke my laptop to the point where it was no longer usable the other day. what I tried to use it all I would get would be horizontal lines. Slow this past Monday I contacted Dell and got them to replace my LCD. They also dealt with the other problems I was having. they replaced the entire motherboard because one of my USB ports was not working. They also replaced my keyboard because my page up had broken.
The guy came today to fix everything. My laptop now has a new motherboard with a printer port that I didn't have before and a COM port that I did not have before. My new keyboard has a mouse nipple in the middle of it that I did not have before. If I had known I was getting a new com port and a printer port then I would have broken the USB a long time ago. I am absolutely sure that the service plan which cost $400 has paid for itself with another year and a half to go.
